Stefania is a co-owner of Lucas Physical Therapy & Fitness.  She was born in Parma, Italy and graduated in 1989 from the University of Parma with an honors degree in Physical Therapy.

Following her graduation she was a full-time practitioner of Massage and Physical Therapy at the Don Gnocchi Rehabilitation Center in Parma, until she moved to the United States in 1999.

In 1993 received her certificate in Bioenergetics Massage and in 1999 attended the 6 month Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation [PNF] course at Kaiser Foundation Hospital, Vallejo, CA.  PNF is system of hands-on stretching and exercise designed to improve muscular coordination and rehabilitate all types of movement disorders.

Stefania was certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2002.  In 2004 she received extensive training in the Munyer Method of Trigger Point Release.  She has also undertaken considerable continuing education in the areas of strength training, manual therapy,  the McKenzie Approach, Kinesiotaping and the Neurodevelopmental Technique Approach.

Her specialties include balance training and fall prevention, stroke rehabilitation, deep tissue work and including myofascail release.

Stefania received her California Physical Therapy license in 2008.

Stefania spends her free time hiking and has a deep love a traveling and visiting exotic places.  In winter she likes to go Snowboarding with her family.

Eileen Cavlan
Eileen is a native of Sunnyvale and is licensed by the State of California as a Physical Therapy Assistant.  She graduated from the De Anza College Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an AA degree in 2005.

Eileen has worked with Roland since 2003 and became his full-time assistant in 2006.  Eileen provides additional services for our clients as instructed by the Physical Therapists.  Her areas of expertise include: soft tissue mobilization, exercise instruction and electrophysical modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

Eileen is a diehard Raiders Fan and enjoys working on old cars.

Alexandrea
Alexandrea is the Lucas Physical Therapy & Fitness Receptionist.  She rounds out our team.  Alex schedules appointments and verifies insurances.   She also assists patients with any billing questions.

In her spare time Alex enjoys Riding Motorcylces and laughing way too loud.
